Job Title:  Sales Coordinator, Mexico

FLSA Status:  Exempt

Department:  Sales & Outreach      

Position Summary: IMG Academy is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated sales candidate to work within our IMG Academy Mexico Office. The primary responsibility is to sell sports and English camps while identifying boarding school leads. This includes working with existing clientele as well as prospecting for new business.

Position Responsibilities


  • Sell IMGA weekly & multi week sports camps across all divisions
  • Meet and exceed personal sales quotas set by management
  • Participate in outreach initiatives throughout Mexico to assist in recruitment – clinics, schools fairs, etc.
  • Actively pursue new business and decipher ways to acquire leads
  • Track the source of lead generation and identify new opportunities across other sports or regions
  • Utilize Microsoft CRM system to track full cycle of the sale
  • Schedule office meetings with potential families to review IMGA programs
  • Meet a daily and weekly minimum of outbound sales calls
  • Report to Head of Mexico Recruitment and update sales metrics weekly
  • Assist with IMGA families with paperwork to complete their reservation into IMG Academy
  • Identify and resolve client concerns in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of IMGA promotional materials to brand ambassadors, clinics, and events
  • General knowledge of all IMGA sports and programs
  • All duties relating to account management of IMGA relationships in the marketplace
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
  • Other duties as assigned



Knowledge, Skills and Ability 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business, Sales or related field
  • Strong decision making, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Background in athletics in Mexico
  • Experience in dealing with international clientele
  • Proficiency with MS Office and database creation/management
  • Ability to create and execute marketing plans
  • Expert attention to detail
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish & English)


Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
  • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
  • Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
