Responsibilities

Position Summary: 

IMG Academy is searching for someone who is on the cutting edge of digital marketing to lead our web site, SEO and ecommerce initiatives as our Digital Marketing Team Lead. This person is someone who takes a data-driven approach to UI/UX and web content and is perpetually measuring, testing and analyzing to propel our website strategy to new heights.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee UI/UX strategy and continual improvement of web properties, including IMGAcademy.com and international sites (being developed for China, Japan, Mexico and South Korea) and event web properties.
  • Optimize conversion paths for lead generation and registrations
  • Work with digital team to maintain and monitor a digital dashboard that determines strategy effectiveness and prioritization
  • Manage agencies that lead web development and SEO services
  • Implement tracking systems to measure effectiveness of email marketing, social, digital advertising and more
  • Liaise with sales teams and other critical departments to gain a greater understanding of our website’s impact on the business and optimize based on feedback and strategy
  • Keep IMG Academy at the forefront of digital marketing through monitoring of industry trends
  • Leading a team of high-performing members who can think critically and take direction without being handheld

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Ability 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Comprehension of digital consumer engagement
  • Strong digital project manager, with a minimum two-plus years of experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • At least a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, CMS (preferably Drupal), Adwords and tag manager
  • High level of Google Analytics proficiency, with certification preferred, and proven experience of using data to make impactful adjustments
  • UTM code tracking experience
  • Conversion optimization, including ecommerce, and an end-to-end comprehension of digital marketing to website, lead acquisition to CRM, automated marketing to conversion and utilization of content marketing.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in marketing, sports marketing, communications or related field
  • Interest in sports
  • Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The role will occasionally require extended and weekend hours during peak seasons
  • The role may require lifting, moving, pushing or pulling equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
  • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
  • Must be able to move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
