Responsibilities

Job Title:  Camp Advisor, Brazil

FLSA Status:  Exempt

Department:  Marketing and Outreach         

Position Summary: Responsible to drive camp sales in Brazil through event activation and establishing relationships with sponsors, private schools, local officials and sports organizations in key markets within the region.

 

Position Responsibilities

Outreach:

 

  • Reporting to the Brazil Office Manager to execute the outreach and achieve sales targets in camp sales
  • Ability to generate leads via external events and activities to drive camp sales
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of all outreach in addition to ROI
  • Daily communication with strategic relationships created in Brazil providing updates, support, education on IMGA developments and pertinent communication
  • Deliver seminars and presentations to various audiences of families, teams, coaches, schools, federation officials, etc. on behalf of IMG Academy to increase camp sales
  • Demonstrating technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of the sport program
  • Properly and effectively using the necessary CRM software
  • Work closely with marketing department and office manager to ensure outreach events are properly resourced with promotional materials, presentation displays, and appropriate collateral
  • Attend fairs and seminars with a focus on prospecting families looking to attend camps abroad
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
  • Other duties as assigned

Sales:

 

  • Prospect potential camp customers through daily phone calls or email
  • Work closely with the Brazil Office Manager to create effective strategies for increasing camp enrollment
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of camp program
  • Responsible for lifecycle of the enrollment process for the Camp Program and serving as the point of contact for the customer for duration of process
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospective business and enrolled business
  • Properly and effectively use the necessary CRM software to track pipeline, sales, scheduled follow-ups and record of pertinent notes for each customer
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of camp programs
  • Identify new opportunities for business development designed to increase camp program enrollment in Brazil
  • Determine customer needs and expectations while making expert recommendations to maximize the customer’s experience
  • Manage time effectively, meeting personal and company goals and working effectively with other members of the Brazil office
  • Maintain close relationship with related departments on campus to ensure proper client transition from sale to participation
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

 

  • Marketing, Sports Marketing, Sports Management or related business majors preferred
  • 1-2 years of sales experience
  • General knowledge of sport
  • Demonstrated track record of sales revenue
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling, following up on leads and generating pipelines
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong decision making, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of the athletic and school landscape throughout Brazil
  • Athletic background playing sports throughout Brazil
  • Outside sales experience managing an assigned territory
  • Experience in dealing with international clientele
  • Experience cold calling, following up on leads and generating pipelines
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleague
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Proficiency with MS Office and database creation/management

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree
  • Bi-Lingual- Portuguese and English

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
  • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
  • Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
