    Responsibilities

    Job Title:  Inventory & Control Manager

    FLSA Status:  Exempt

    Department: F&B

    Position Summary:  Oversee and all activities related to inventory control within food & beverage environment.

     

    Position Responsibilities

    • Oversee the preperation & maintenance of all food & beverage inventory
    • Ensure the quality levels of food & beverage products and maintain quality standards in production, services, facilities and guest satisfaction.
    • Ensure all materials are properly stored
    • Ensure appropriate levels of inventory are maintained in order to meet customer demand
    • Oversee food & beverage shipping, deliveries and orders
    • Work with sales representatives, customers and other members of the department as necessary
    • Responsible for inventory across diverse and multiple dining environments including cafeteria, deli and café style areas.
    • Well-versed with budgets and inventory financials
    • Responsible for inventory employee scheduling and time off
    • Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation and health
    • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability 

    • 2+ years of related experience or equivalent and at a managerial level;
    • Strong passion and knowledge for culinary excellence  and guest service
    • Great customer service attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
    • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
    • Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization
    • A superior work ethic
    • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Diverse knowledge of international cuisines

    Preferred Skills

    • High- volume inventory
    • Bilingual

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
    • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
    • Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
    • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
