    Responsibilities

    Job Title:  Supervisor, Food & Beverage

    FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

    Department: F&B

    Position Summary:  Responsible for assisting with the management, control and administration of front of the house food & beverage operations

     

    Position Responsibilities

    • Assist with oversight and management of front of the house food and beverage operations
    • Ensure the quality levels of food & beverage products and maintain quality standards in production, services, facilities and guest satisfaction.
    • Responsible for diverse and multiple dining environments including cafeteria, deli and café style areas.
    • Assist with employee scheduling and time off, including timekeeping records for all F&B employees
    • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability 

    • 2+ years of related experience or equivalent
    • Strong passion and knowledge for culinary excellence  and guest service
    • Great customer service attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
    • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
    • Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization
    • A superior work ethic
    • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Diverse knowledge of international cuisines

    Preferred Skills

    • High-volume, fast-paced restaurant experience is a plus
    • High- volume catering experience
    • Bilingual

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
    • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
    • Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
    • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
