    Responsibilities

    Position Summary: 


    With a unique and dynamic environment, video strategy, capture and production is a critical component to the IMG Academy marketing department.


    The video production manager would be responsible for crafting and executing a creative multimedia strategy through videography, photography and audio on various production projects, including but not limited to: short-form “sizzles”, long-form features, highlight packages, live streaming, photography, podcasts and more to drive brand positioning, awareness and conversion.

    Position Responsibilities:



    • Creates a culture of storytelling and provides creative direction on video and other multimedia content

    • Works collaboratively with marketing/communications teams to brainstorm and execute video and photography that supports specific campaigns and initiatives

    • Originates and evaluates media projects from initial concept to finished product

    • Designs formats, treatments and scripts

    • Creates and manages production budgets and timelines

    • Responsible for video scheduling, shooting, editing, mixing, duplication and final production in concert with the videographer and/or contractors

    • Develops full-time videographer and keeps an established list of freelancers and vendors to help scale as needed

    • Strategizes and helps develop digital distribution across website, social media, mobile, video channel and others

    • Maintains a detailed video calendar anticipating shooting and production needs

    • Maintains an organized library of video assets

    • Aids in set-ups that include camera, lighting, audio, etc.



    • Has a knowledge and maintains all video equipment that is available.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability 



    • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Film/Photography, Media Arts or related field

    • Minimum four years professional experience in video production

    • Advanced editing experience using Adobe Creative Cloud

    • Experience with video camera operations including Sony A7sll, Sony EX1, Panasonic HPX150, Canon T3i DSLR and GoPro

    • Experience in storyboarding and scriptwriting for features and promotional videos

    • Experience managing videographers, vendors, freelancers and agencies

    • Knowledgeable of photographic skills and understands lighting

    • Experience using green screen and 3-point light setups for interviews

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues


    Physical Demands and Work Environment



    • The role will occasionally require extended and weekend hours during peak seasons

    • The role may require lifting, moving, pushing or pulling equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs

    • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time

    • Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.

    • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
