    Responsibilities

    Position Summary: 

    IMG Academy is searching for an organized, data-driven marketing coordinator to help with the launch and continued marketing of The Legacy Hotel at IMG Academy. The hotel marketing coordinator will ensure we are hitting all internal communication touchpoints to drive awareness and interest in the hotel with existing business, as well as supporting digital marketing efforts to drive transient business.

     

    Position Responsibilities

    • Oversee and maintain content on IMGLegacyHotel.com and interface with the marketing department digital media team to ensure the site is optimized
    • Work with digital marketing agency to strategize, deploy and monitor SEM and SEO campaigns in support of transient hotel business
    • Provide support to group and team outreach employees in the form of collateral and promotional materials
    • Establish and execute social content calendar, including timely response to comments and direct messages, in accordance with the IMG Academy Social Media Manager
    • Maintain all areas of internal integrated messaging points that support hotel, including email, IMGAcademy.com, events, IMG Academy Golf Club and more
    • Liaise with local tourism groups to include Legacy Hotel messaging/listings in their inventory
    • Work with Director of Marketing and General Manager of hotel to ensure the hotel customer experience is optimized through any marketing-specific touchpoints, including in-room displays, available programming to guests of the hotel and more
    • Position Legacy Hotel as the premier option for anyone staying in Bradenton, Anna Maria Island and other immediate areas

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability 

    • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, communications or related field
    • Prefer a background in hotel, resort or hospitality marketing
    • Experience in digital marketing and agency management
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
    • Experience in social media marketing

    Preferred Skills

    • Master’s degree in marketing, sports marketing, communications or related field
    • Interest in sports
    • Bilingual

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    • The role will occasionally require extended and weekend hours during peak seasons
    • The role may require lifting, moving, pushing or pulling equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
    • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
    • Must be able to move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
    • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
